My signature open and close bangles have a unique clasp that allows the bangle to open and be eased over the wearer's hand. This means the bangle can fit neatly on the wrist rather than falling back down over the hand.

It is a great option particularly if (like many of us!) you have wide hands and narrow wrists or you perhaps have hand joint pain and don’t relish the struggle to push your hand through a fixed bangle. It is also a piece of jewellery that you can put on and take off by yourself.

I make these bangles in two widths, approx. 8mm and 13mm, from 1.1mm thick sterling silver so they have a good weight to them. The bangle either closes with a cabochon stone or with a hand cast silver button. The photos show the selection of open and close bangles that I have in stock or that can be made to order. They can also be commissioned in which case you would have the opportunity to specify your own personal choice of stone or to discuss a different decorative theme.
